Renovation of a 1935 house that had been divided into two apartments to create a single dwelling. An ambitious renovation project to achieve an A energy rating (improving the energy efficiency rating by four classes):

- Interior wall insulation

- Attic insulation

- Ground floor insulation

- Replacement of windows and shutters

- Replacement of the gas boiler with a dual-service air-to-water heat pump, including a complete overhaul of the heating and cooling systems

- Installation of a mechanical ventilation system 

- Installation of ceiling fans

 

And concurrently:

- Complete rewiring

- Refurbishment of all bathrooms

- Renovation of the railings to meet current standards while preserving the existing appearance

- Painting

- Refurbishment of the floors, preserving some of the original flooring
