Renovation project for a unique holiday home.

This old house was built within the former quarry of Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie. Water was seeping through the rock, and the house suffered from serious dampness issues caused by a previous, unsuitable renovation.

The existing wall linings and glass wool insulation were removed in favor of moisture-resistant insulation and lime-based finishes.

The project also involved:

- Reconfiguring the layout by demolishing the old staircase—which had previously cut the house in two—thereby creating a spacious open-plan living area.

- Refurbishing the upper floor, including the renovation of the bedrooms and bathroom.
